Akshay's Grandmother Passes Away?

Akki`s grandmother passes away but show goes onAkshay Kumar does it all pays last respects to his naani on Saturday and even promotes latest film

Akshay Kumar's maternal grandmother passed away on Friday.

But the actor did not take the day off as expected but fulfilled his duties at the funeral and also delivered on work commitments made for upcoming film Tees Maar Khan the next day.

Farah confirms, "Akshay went with his naani's ashes to Nashik on Saturday early morning, then headed to the rehearsals for the Zee Awards at the Bandra-Kurla complex. He had to rehearse as he was performing a special sequence. "

That wasn't all. After that, the actor went on to complete the last day dubbing for TMK in Andheri. Farah adds, "After the dubbing, he went to his naani's prayer meet at a gurdwara in Andheri.

Akshay knew he had to be at the TMK beach event in Juhu at 5. 30, so donning a helmet he rode on his bike all the way as he didn't want to get caught in traffic and wanted to be present at the event on time.

What shocked me was that he came at all! He was very close to his naani who lived with them and I didn't expect him to come. "

FK was obviously surprised then, to receive a call from Akki's secretary on Saturday morning, telling her that Akshay would fulfill all his commitments. "Most stars come up with the weirdest excuses asking to postpone or cancel shoots. But he had a valid excuse to cancel, didn't. "

Says a source close to the actor, "He always adheres to his dad's words: 'No matter what happens to any of us, the show must always go on. '

That's what he has always done and what he will always do. Unable to keep his grief bottled up any more at his beloved naani's death, Akshay broke down at her prayer meeting on Saturday. "

Meanwhile. . .

The Munni vs Sheila war contines. A Hitlist reader sends us five reasons why he prefers Sheila over Munni.

BRANDING: Munni is badnaam but Sheela is jawaan.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Munni gyrated in some desi daaru ka adda. Sheila gyrates in a metropolitan disco bar.

DEMAND-SUPPLY CONCEPT: Munni is offering herself easily ('Darling, tere liye!'). As there is easy supply, demand is limited. Whereas Sheila is not available easily ('Main to khud se pyar jataun' and 'Tere haath kabhi na aani'), so low supply spells huge demand.

DANCE STYLE: Munni does the age-old latka jhatka (every second item number has this) while Sheila shakes her booty with drumbeats (something new).

MATHEMATICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS: Munni is sleek (though Indians invented zero it doesn't mean we like zero figures) whereas Sheila is voluptuous (that's perfect!).

Give Us An 'A' Certificate - Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji: Give us an `A` CertificateThe release date of 'No One Killed Jessica' is fast approaching and the cast and crew of the film are busy promoting the upcoming Bollywood venture.

Knowing that her middle finger act has raised a lot of eyebrows, Rani Mukerji does not mind if her upcoming film on the real life story based on the murder of Jessica Lal is awarded an adult certificate by the censor board in India.

In fact, Rani Mukerji has said in a statement to the media that she will be very happy if her upcoming film gets an adult certificate!

The actress plays a crime reporter in the film and according to what Rani Mukerji has said in her interviews to the media, it is only her character in the film which does not have any connection to the real life incident surrounding Delhi based model Jessica Lal.

Rani Mukerji's fictional character, Meera, signifies how aggressive the media in India can be and how at times they can take up the reins of justice in their own hands. The bold and fearless attitude of Meera was what attracted Rani Mukerji towards the role and she agreed to play it for the big screen.

Joining Rani Mukerji in 'No One Killed Jessica' is actress Vidya Balan. She plays Jessica Lal's real life sister Sabrina in the film. The title of the film and its incidents are inspired from an article in The Times Of India after the accused in the Jessica Lal murder case were acquitted in the year 2006.

Movie Review Of "Yeh Saali Zindagi"

Yeh Saali Zindagi Cast: Irrfan Khan, Chitrangda Singh, Arunoday Singh, Aditi Rao, Saurabh Shukla, Vipin Sharma, Yashpal Sharma, Sushant Singh, Prashant Narayanan

Music: Nishat Khan

Lyrics: Swanand Kirkire

Dialogues: Manu Rishi & Sudhir Mishra

Story, Screenplay, Direction: Sudhir Mishra

Yeh Saali Zindagi Its a quirky love story in the guise of a thriller. Its an obtuse take on how far they both the heroes go to get the women they love and how sometimes one screw-up can set everything right!

Arun (Irrfan Khan) has to save Priti (Chitrangda Singh) the woman he loves, but for that he first has to save the man Priti loves- Shyam, the future son in law of a powerful Minister.

Meanwhile, time is running out for Kuldeep (Arunoday Singh), the young gangster who is on his last job as his wife is threatening to walk out on him completely, and he begins to suspect she is leaving him to go into the arms of another man.

The job has gone haywire for it is still unknown to Kuldeep that the Ministers daughters engagement with Shyam is off and now she doesn’t care whether Shyam lives or dies and more importantly neither does the Minister who Kuldeep hoped would pay the ransom!

Priti finds herself inextractably caught in this mess and Arun has to save her life. But for that he has to risk everything, and put his own life at stake, he wonders why he should do it at all, if she still loves another.

He’s torn, but love knows no reason. Meanwhile Shyam is trying to make deals in captivity, and his goodness only seems superficial and as Kuldeep tries desperately to save his situation, there are dons coming from Bangkok, who have their own plans.

The film rides a roller-coaster towards a shattering climax, where all the players have to fend for their lives and loves. Who gets the girl, and who gets the money, and who escapes by the skin of his teeth, is now anybody’s guess. But hold on, there are still jokers in the pack, and aces up some sleeves.

Movie Review Of "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se"

Khelein Hum Jee Jaan SeCast: Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Sikandar Kher, Vishakha Singh

Director: Ashutosh Gowariker
Rating: ****
There's ongoing sense of serenity compounded by a feeling of sincerity and
transparency in the cinema of Ashutosh Gowariker. This filmmaker never hides life's most essential truth in cinematic subterfuge. Rather, Gowariker goes the other way.

He strips the emotional content of cinema of its accessories and trappings and leaves the screen with just that right amount of drama that does complete justice to the characters without making them a casualty of excessive creative freedom.

Celebrate the creative freedom of a fearless and honest cinema. "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey" (KHJJS) is an inherently dramatic story about a large group of young people who fought an unknown chapter in India's freedom movement, told on screen with a minimum amount of flag-waving bravura.

The source material, Manini Chatterjee's novel, is open to an acutely pompous and self-important treatment. But when has Gowariker's cinema ever been a prey to pomposity?

If he can make Akbar's court look so cool, casual and muted in spite of its inbuilt flamboyancy, the super-committed sepoys of self-government in KHJJS are not capable of even a second of verbal or visual overstatement.

Going to a world that is strongly redolent of historic ramifications, Gowariker pulls the real-life material out of the textbook and transforms it into an eminently engaging story about anti-colonialism.

This is certainly not Gowariker's first visit into Colonial India. Who can forget the director's neo-classic "Lagaan" where one villager gathered a whole team of ragged villagers to beat the Brits at their own game.

KHJJS is not as playful, lyrical and lush as "Lagaan". This time Gowariker tells his story with brutal straightforwardness, a quality that is a hallmark of this exceptional director's cinema, here more prominently on display than in any of his earlier works.

The epic satire of "Lagaan", the grandiosity of "Jodhaa-Akbar" and the transparent nationalism of "Swades" peep out of Gowariker's latest work in measured doses, though never in a way that suggests any calculated attempt to create a pre-given ambience.

The setting, Chittagong in Bengal in the 1930s, is created with a fluency, virility and scrupulousness that make us believe in the characters and their mission from the word go. Watching out for those sleeping-dogs of over-statement, the narrative moves across a an artless criss-cross of patriotic plotting without tripping over in anxiety and nervousness.

A sense of calm camaraderie prevails even during moments of unsettling bloodshed. This is no one-day mataram. The patriotic zeal never felt more tranquil before. This is history without hysteria. In KHJJS, each one of 70-odd characters seems born into his or her respective parts.

Much of supporting cast does what it is expected to. It supports the drama and the tension with restrain and skill. Standing tall in the supporting cast is Sikandar Kher expressing indignance and ire without going over-the-top.

Deepika Padukone sheds her pouty movie-siren's image confidently. She gets unexpected competition from debutante Vishakha Singh who seems to get under the skin of her character.

But the film finally 'belongs' to Abhishek Bachchan in the way that films become the property of actors who own characters not for a display of histrionic vanity but because they grasp instinctively the world which the character inhabits.

Abhishek's empathy with his character is complete and unimpeachable. As Surjya Sen, he conveys a muffled but obstinate idealism. Abhishek's eyes become his window to a world where pain governs the journey to a greater glory.

Just as it's impossible to imagine Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Black" and "Guzaarish" without Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan, or Gowariker's "Swades" without Shah Rukh Khan, what, we wonder, would Surjya Sen be if Abhishek had not played him with such quelled anger, dignity and grace?

Or for that matter where in our cinema today would history find a place if Gawariker was not committed to making compelling films on the indelible relationship between the present and the past?

On the technical front, Kiran Deohans' cinematography and Nitin Desai's art direction are subtle delicate but evocative. Sohail Sen's music fits in like a glove with the film's theme and mood of restrained revolution.

Don't expect the bombastic patriotism of Manoj Kumar's "Kranti" or the tax-exemptible desperate nobility of "Gandhi - My Father". The effectiveness of Gowariker's drama is drawn from the director's determination to keep his drama denuded of exhibitionism.

"Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey" is the kind of rare and precious cinema on the theme of idealism, nobility and nationalism that is being progressively pushed out of our cinema by crass boorish comedies.

It must be seen not because it retrieves a forgotten chapter from our history, but simply because it's a story so well told you forget it's a true story.

The truth of the moment in the cinema of Gowariker is the only truth that matters for the audience. The rest is history.

Movie Review Of "Rakht Charitra 2"

Rakht Charitra 2Starring: Suriya, Vivek Oberoi, Priyamani, Radhika Apte

Directed: Ram Gopal Varma

Rating: *** ½

In this sequel to Ram Gopal Varma's month-old film about gangwars during the time of politics and elections we get to see for the first time in a Hindi film Suriya, an actor of searing intensity and devastating emotional velocity.

Suriya takes the frontseat in the sequel to create an ambience of implosive violence. Yes, we've never seen an actor so controlled in his intensity for a long time. Suriya's vendetta spree certainly lends an added sheen to the proceedings.

Whether expressing his love for his wife (Priya Mani, over-madeup) and baby or hatred for his opponent Paritala Ravi (Vivek Oberoi, not able to add to his performance from the first part), Suriya's eyes convey a smouldering universe of indignation injustice grief and anger.

Cleverly Varma has given Suriya long stretches of silence in which the star-actor negotiates his angst-filled journey from betrayal to redemption. Suriya's lengthy introduction sequence, the even lengthier attempt to kill him in the court house and the long fight sequence in jail are all 'items' constructed to spotlight the star's agile histrionics.

"Rakhta Charitra2" goes a little slower on the body count than the first part. It is still one of the bloodiest, most violent films in living memory.

This must be the quickest sequel ever. "Rakht Charitra2" is better, more engaging and riveting in terms of content and drama.

Full credit to Ram Gopal Varma for re-creating the savage world of politics and bloodshed in the Andhra hinterland. With skilled hands, Varma weaves the theme of an internecine war between two Men Who Would Be King In The Concrete Jungle.

The background score and editing highlight the ruthless profile of the hinterland. "Rakht Charitra 2" goes beyond the first part in pursuit of the savage impulses that accentuate the hunger for power. Suriya has the most pained eyes since Om Puri in "Aakrosh". Between the pleading and the bleeding that are projected into his character, Suriya proves himself the discovery of the year.

Watch "Rakht Charitra2" for Suriya. And then watch it for the parable of violence that Ram Gopal Varma continues to construct in search of a meaning for the cinema beyond surface beauty.

Hrithik Roshan Donate Rs 10 Lakh To School Bus

Hrithik donates Rs 10 lakh school busHrithik Roshan donates a Rs 10 lakh bus to a special school

Hrithik Roshan gifted a school bus worth R 10 lakh to the Dilkhush Special School (for mentally challenged children) in Juhu.

Says a source from Dilkhush on condition of anonymity, "Yes, Hrithik has donated a bus to the school.

Currently, we only have two school buses one that drops off children to Mahim and the other to Jogeshwari. The Mahim bus is in dire need of repairs.

We had written to the actor asking if he could help us in any way. We were pleasantly surprised to get his reply in a few days sanctioning the new bus which should arrive by January next year. "

The source adds that Duggu's first connection with the school was through his wife Sussanne who had visited them in 2003.

"That's when they started helping the school through donations. We were badly affected during the 2005 floods as we are close to Juhu beach.

The ground floor got damaged and we sent appeals to many people as furniture and school records had got damaged.

Hrithik was amongst the first to respond and send over a large amount immediately. Since then, he's always been very generous. "

The source says that HR prefers to keep a low-key profile. "He has never visited the school but whenever we have needed him, he's always been there.

Last year, he asked for a photograph of the children. We sent one over.

We have been running this school for 40 years on donations and today, have 100 children whom we train so they can integrate with mainstream society. "

Some of the staff from the school are big fans of the actor. "We would have loved it if Hrithik personally came to hand over the bus to us.

But we also understand his need for privacy. At the staff meeting we have planned to watch Guzaarish soon. "

Priyanka Chopra Willn't Dance Even For Rs. 3 Crore?

Priyanka Chopra will not Dance even for Rs. 3 Crore!Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has taken a leaf out of once friend Kareena Kapoor's pages. Like Bebo, she too, will not shake a leg at a private function.

It will be recalled that Kareena Kapoor and beau Saif Ali Khan had refused to dance at a wedding, similarly Priyanka Chopra will not dance for a five star hotel's New Year celebrations.

What is surprising is the fact that the actress had been offered a whopping amount of Rs. 3 crore to be part of the celebrations on New Year's Eve. So is 3 crore too less an amount to see Priyanka Chopra match steps to a song?

According to reports circulating in the media, Priyanka Chopra has reservations about dancing in front of a live audience especially at private parties.

Therefore, the actress graciously turned down the offer made to her, though she knew that the money at stake was more than she would ever get for a film performance.

Priyanka Chopra at present rakes in a sum of 1. 5 crore per film, which comes armed with months long work schedule. The New Year performance, on the other hand, would have given her a sum of 3 crore for only three hours of work apart from rehearsals!

Looks like our Piggy Chops is taking a little extra care about her public image nowadays! However, New Year Eve parties with actresses as the star attraction is not a rare sight. This year too various five star hotels will get to see the likes of Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat gyrate to the music.

Kareena & Saif's Shocking Revelations...

Saif and Kareena`s Shocking Revelations!Karan Johar has invited many Bollywood stars this season at his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' and this week the viewers will see Bollywood's hottest couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in a chit chat with the witty filmmaker.

The host knows very well how to dig out the weird things from the stars and he has done with Kareena also. He gave Bebo an option to choose the sexiest man from the list of Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal, Hrithik Roshan and Imran Khan.

The witty lady also knew well what the audience and the host wants to hear from her so she also took Shahid's name instantly. Saif was probably not prepared for the shock so he looked a bit uneasy.

However, the 'Chhote Nawab' is also not dumb guy so he also uttered his boldest line ever on the show saying that he is very reliable, strong and very long! It seems the duo came prepared for providing all the necessary spices to the show.

Bebo also did not spare her arch rival Priyanka Chopra and mockingly said that if any actress has a little bit of 'act' then it is Priyanka and she is definitely placed in number two. In a way, Bebo made it clear that she is still the ruling queen in Bollywood.

Well, Priyanka might not bother to know about Bebo's opinion about her but Shahid will definitely get delighted to know that his ex still finds him sexy!

Yana Gupta Really Forget To Wear Something Under...

Yana Gupta forgot to wear somethingWe're not telling you what. The pics say it all

Yana Gupta was at an event held by an international children's charity over the weekend.

Dressed in a short black dress, the actress went commando (she wasn't wearing innerwear).

She tried her best to cover up by giving weird poses, but the damage was done. The photogs got what they came for.

Even though she made an attempt to get out of her car without giving an upskirt picture, what followed was a series of poses where the Babuji item girl was left further exposed.

While it has become the norm rather than the exception to see Hollywood's Britney Spears and Paris Hilton minus their innerwear when they step out in public, Indian celebs have remained more or less insulated to the phenomenon.

A few years ago, Shamita Shetty found out the hard way that not keeping your legs together when in a mini and the cameras are flashing, is dangerous.

When Hollywood went commando

BRITNEY SPEARS: Is the leader of the pack. She has put in more panty-less appearances for the pleasure of the paparazzi than anyone else here.

PARIS HILTON: A paparazzi darling, the hotel heiress has given photogs an ample view of what's between her legs more often than not. The second-in-command in this brigade, her crotch usually enters the frame before she does.

JENNIFER ANISTON: This one rarely has an oops moment. But always ends up the lonely one alone. She's way past the (Brad) Pitts, (Vince) Vaughns and the (John) Mayers and now is moving on in life... or maybe not. This commando look sure sees her coming off a tad bit desperate.

TARA REID: The relatively lesser-known actress sits pretty on her guy's lap, red-nosed and a little spaced out. Ok, make that pretty spaced out. We dread to find out what she has put on display here. This isn't her first time, won't be her last!

KATY PERRY: It's not uncommon to see Katy do something outrageous (her marrying Russell Brand being the most obvious). This moment shows her in all her translucent glory. If you were in the front row of this concert, you probably saw more than you paid for.

Deepika, Ranbir & Sonam's War Of Words Became Ugly

Sonam, Ranbir, Deepika: War of words get uglyRanbir Kapoor's dad blasts them both for making fun of his son on Koffee With Karan, says it's case of sour grapes with the girls
PS: Strangely blames host Karan Johar for instigating them

The Koffee With Karan episode featuring Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor which aired last Sunday is threatening to spoil the relations between the Kapoors and the host Karan Johar.

The two actresses, who have both been linked to Ranbir Kapoor, took potshots at the actor throughout the show and this has angered his parents and extended family like his aunt Rima Jain.

What Sonam said

Declared Ranbir was unsexy, and that she had seen it all during the shooting of Saawariya when he dropped the towel for the infamous scene, and wasn't interested anymore. She also ridiculed his fashion sense.

And let Deepika know that she found it admirable that Deepika held on to Kapoor for so long. Ending by saying that Ranbir badly needed a stylist and that he is a terrible boyfriend and he can never stay faithful.

What Deepika said

When KJo asked her what she'd like to give Ranbir Kapoor, she said: a box of condoms. Hinting at his over-active libido or an unfortunate incident with one of his girlfriends? Your guess is as good as ours.

When asked to rate him in sex appeal, the former girlfriend put him last on her list. She also said that that if she woke up as RK someday, she'd go back to sleep. She also made digs at him for cheating on her.

The piece de resistance was when she revealed that once, when RK was at KJO's house, her ex was offered a glass of juice and a silk robe by his maid.

Some people who saw the episode felt the two actresses had gone overboard with their opinion on Ranbir. Naturally RK's parents are upset. Rima and Neetu are currently on a holiday in New York and haven't seen the show but they got calls from "well-wishers" from India who informed them about the fun poked at the Kapoor lad.

An industry source reveals, "Neetu was so mad when she heard what the two actresses had said she called up Karan and fired him for allowing that kind of talk on the show." Rishi Kapoor makes no bones about hiding his hurt and anger.

Although he claims he hasn't seen the show, he admits, "We definitely feel cheated and hurt. My wife and sister are in New York and they were very upset when they heard about the show.

Neetu was very hurt and upset and she spoke to Karan about it. We didn't expect this from him because Karan happens to be a close friend but he instigated both the girls to say all those things!"

A disturbed Rishi continues, "We've done so much for Karan... We have gone twice on his show. We even gave bytes for the show featuring Imran and Ranbir out of pure love for Karan.

In return, what does he do? Provoke guests on his show to get better TRPs? There's no respect for relationships. Neetu and I go on his shows out of love for him. He gets paid for the show while we do it for love and affection. Karan shouldn't do this to us or all the Kapoors will severe ties with him and not work with him."

When pointed out that it wasn't the host but Deepika and Sonam who poked fun at his laadla, Papa Kapoor says, "Well to put things in the right perspective, all I can say is that with both the girls it is a case of sour grapes. I have known Sonam's father Anil for years.

All I will say to the girls is: in stead of doing all this concentrate on your careers. Why do you run shows that have so much gossip?

I have done Koffee With Karan earlier with Neetu, my brothers and sister; there was great camaraderie and laughter on our show. We didn't run anyone down. I don't think you should encourage people to wash dirty linen in public. You will never see Ranbir running anyone down."

When asked if he'd tried to talk to Anil about Sonam's comments, Rishi says, "What can I say to Anil? Everyone is family here and these girls are like my children. I don't want to get into fights involving my son's friends.

It just shows their (Deepika and Sonam) class. I would like to tell them to stop giggling all the time and instead grow up and behave maturely. They are there on the show because they are their father's daughters and not because of their work! I would advise them to stop talking about their colleagues and running them down."

The Other Side

"Neetuji has not called me and I am unaware of any of this... spoke to Ranbir and he was totally cool and understands the nature and vibe of the show!! He is possibly the coolest guy I know... so he was totally fine!!" Karan Johar

My wife and sister are in New York and they were very upset when they heard about the show. Neetu was very hurt and upset and she spoke to Karan about it. We didn't expect this from him because Karan happens to be a close friend but he instigated both the girls to say all those things. We have done so much for Karan in return, what does he do?

Provoke guests on his show to get better TRPs? There's no respect for relationships. He gets paid for the show while we do it for love and affection.

Karan shouldn't do this to us or all the Kapoors will severe ties with him and not work with him. Well to put things in the right perspective all I can say is that with both the girls it is a case of sour grapes. It just shows their (Deepika and Sonam) class.

I would like to tell them to stop giggling all the time and behave maturely. They are there on the show because they are their father's daughters and not because of their work! I would advise them to stop talking about their colleagues and running them down.

It`s Sheila Ki Jawani vs Munni Badnaam Hui. Pick Your Hottie!Upala KBR pits the Dabangg hottie against Tees Maar Khan's leading lady

Sheila Ki Jawani

Starring: Katrina Kaif With Akshay Kumar and a group of city boys.
From: Tees Maar Khan (2010).
Set in: Five different sets including a rotating bed, curtains and a seedy tavern with wooden tables and sailors. While Farah Khan wanted it to be shot like a B-grade Bhojpuri song, it turned out to be a classy Broadway musical.
Choreographed by: Farah Khan.
Dress: Two changes Indian and Western.
USP: Kat in a sheet.
Lines we like: I know you want it but you never gonna get it; tere haath kabhi na aani
Works because: Katrina Kaif has never looked hotter.
Most likely to be played in: High-end cars, nightclubs and iPods of college kids.
Most likely to upset: Women called Sheila and their husbands.
Status: So hot right now!

Malla on how SKJ compares to Munni: I can't comment as I haven't seen the song but just heard it. Apart from both being choreographed by Farah, both are completely different songs in terms of look and music. There are no similarities otherwise. Farah has done a fantastic job on both songs.

I love her work and I am a big fan of hers but Munni will always remain my favourite as it's our (Arbaaz and Malaika) song and part of Dabangg! It's our film and I love the song to death! Nothing is better than our film and song.... My loyalties go without saying (sic). It's not just any song but the best and the audience liked it.

Farah says: Sheila has a million and a half hits on YouTube since it released. It's more sensuous and elegant. I love 'Sheila' and 'Munni' both are my friends. I am happy that both these songs are mine!

Munni will always remain my favourite as it's part of our film Dabangg, and I love the song to death! Nothing is better than our film and song Malaika Arora

Choreographed by: Farah Khan.
Set in: A chowki in a basti where Munni is performing in front of villagers. Shot on a rustic set.
Dress: Indian.
USP: Malaika and Farah coming together after Kaal Dhamaal.
Lines we like: Shilpa sa figure Bebo si adaa, Bebo si adaa, Hai mere jhatke mein filmi mazaa re filmi mazaa.
Works because: No one works the floor like Malla does.
Most likely to be played in: Cabs, autorickshaws and dance bars.
Most Likely to upset: Seniors with aches and pains, who use Zandu balm.
Status: Oh-so-yesterday.

Katrina on how SKJ compares to Munni: Firstly. I feel there is no need for comparisons. Such things shouldn't be taken seriously or dissected but laughed about. Also I would like to make one correction here.

I am the lead actress in the film and have done four out of the five songs in the film while Malaika did Munni as an item song and a guest appearance. I've heard Munni and it's fantastic.

There's no point comparing both the songs as Munni was choreographed on a set resembling a basti (slum) and was shot outdoors. It had a different rustic feel to it while Sheila is shot indoors and has a Chicago feel to it.

Farah says: Munni was great fun. It was more naughty and was rustic. I am the lead actress in the film and have done four out of the five songs in the film while Malaika did Munni as an item song.

Deepika & Imran's 5 Ways To Breakup With Lover

Deepika and Imran give 5 ways to break up with your loverDeepika Padukone's 5 ways to be friends with your Ex and...

Deepika Padukone's character in Break Ke Baad is of a girl who breaks up with a guy and then patches up with him. Off screen, the actress has gone through a break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and believes ex-boyfriends can still be friends. Here are her top five tips on how to get back with your ex.

1 I think the girl should gift her ex a diamond solitaire. Nothing says 'I am serious' like a diamond ring. They say diamonds are a girl's best friends, but the same holds true for a guy. I am sure that will win him over.

2 Do something nice for the ex. Like plan a trip for your ex and send him to Russia with his buddies. It's every guy's dream destination what with all the booze and the babes. Would be a nice way of telling him to have one last fling then 'come back and get serious with me'.

3 This one is edgy. Tell your guy that he reminds you of your father. A dad stands for someone who loves you, protects you and takes care of you. That ought to flatter him and woo him over.

4 Show up with a bottle of his fav poison at his doorstep. Get drunk and smashed with him. Let him know that you can be one of the guys and have real fun as well. Let your hair down and he will see you are as much fun as his friends. He'll never want to let you go. Once the hangover is done, the next morning both of you will have a story to tell each other.

5 Be generous. Set him up with a girl he has a crush on. Let him know you have moved on from being possessive and are mature enough to see him go on a date with someone else, if that is what he wants. He will realise you are an angel and fall in love with you all over again.

Imran Khan's 5 ways to break up with your girlfriend...

Imran Khan deals with break-up blues in his forthcoming film Break Ke Baad. Here he tells us five foolproof ways to end your relationship without facing her wrath...

1 Tell her you are moving to Australia and will message her your new number once you reach there. Obviously, she will never hear from you again.

2 Hire two guys in black suits to walk up to her. Make them tell her, 'Your boyfriend is a terrorist and we want you to spy on him for us." I am sure she wouldn't want to be associated with a terrorist!

3 Salman gave me a nice tip when I went on Bigg Boss. I think that would also work. Tell her: "My father doesn't like you, and even my mother doesn't like you. So we should break-up!"

4 Hold her close, look intensely into her eyes and say, "Sweetheart you remind me of my mom!" I think she would take the cue and walk away.

5 Set up a shrine of her mother in your bedroom. Before she comes to your place, make a shrine with pictures, images, maybe some items of her mom in your bedroom. She will definitely freak out over the thought of you obsessing over your future mother-in-law and run away!

Sonakshi Sinha Molested By The Media Men?

Shocking: Sonakshi Sinha molested by media menBollywood actors and paparazzi often face-off during various events. Recently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were boycotted by media persons for being too late for an event. The latest reports suggest that the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha is now pissed off with the paparazzi.

What happened with Sonakshi? Did media boycott her too? Well, here the situation is different. Few days back, the 23-year-old actress attended an event to show her respect on the occasion of 26/11 anniversary. An NGO organized this event to fight against the terrorism. But ironically, they could not even safeguard a young actress from some rowdy men.

As per the reports, a group of men got so close to her that Sonaskhi started feeling very uncomfortable. They even touched on her shoulder and arms and it was almost like trying to molest the actress.

It was thought that those men were her fans but the actress clarified the point by posting her view on a micro blogging website.

Sonakshi said that she was not at all traumatized and neither is she crying but she is totally pissed off with those men, whom she identified as the media persons and their cameramen. This made her totally pissed off with the paparazzi.

If those rowdy men were really media people then the Sonakshi's anger was totally justified because if they don't have basic sense of respecting a lady then how can then report a news with responsibility!

Kangna Is Inked Out In The First Look Of Her New Movie!

First Look: Kangna is inked outGets elaborate additions made to a former tatoo Kangna Ranaut got inked yet again on the back of her neck last Friday by tattoo artist Sameer Patange at his Kraayonz Tattoo Studio.

The actress reveals more about the new inking, "I call this the warrior angel. I got my earlier tat done about a month ago. It was small and basic consisting of just a cross and wings.

This one is bigger and more elaborate. Sameer is excellent at detailing and concealing. He has added angels, wings, a crown and a sword around my earlier tat in such a way that he didn't have to remove it.

I have also designed rose buds on top of the rose handle to make it look more feminine. "

She says she always wanted to have a tattoo based around the concept of a sword and angels with wings.

"I have always been a fighter no matter what my circumstances have been and I also feel that angels have protected me. Hence the angels, wings, crown and sword design which I conceived on my own.

Kangna's now elaborate tattoo

The new inking session lasted almost two-and-a-half hours and was very painful. But the pain was worth it as now my dream tattoo is ready.

I don't plan to have any more done now maybe when I get married and have children, I might have their names inked!"

Kangna says she was in two minds on enlarging her original tat. "When I had my first done I wasn't sure how it would look especially if I could carry it off during shootings and given the characters I was playing.

I kept it small as I wanted to check it out.

But then I realised I could always conceal it with make-up or wear outfits that covered my tattoo when I was shooting. I decided to go for a larger, more elaborate tattoo my dream one!"

Ranaut will be next seen on screen in No Problem, an Anees Bazmee film, along with Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Akshaye Khanna.

Her character in the film is a bimbette who is completely obsessed with her looks and the latest fashion trends.

Manoj Tiwari Never Told Shweta That His Wife Doubts Her!

I never told Shweta that my wife doubts her: Manoj TiwariBhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari, the latest to be evicted out of reality show "Bigg Boss 4", admits that his wife doubts his loyalty due to actress Shweta Tiwari, but clarifies that he knows her only professionally.

"I do have issues in my marriage. My wife has always doubted my relationship with Shweta, but I never told Shweta about it until we met in 'Bigg Boss'. I never felt the need to tell her because we hardly used to meet otherwise. I always knew her only professionally, " Manoj told over phone from Mumbai.

The actor, singer and director, who has been living separately from his wife and daughter for the past few months, says if he had any romantic involvement with Shweta, it couldn't have been hidden on a show like "Bigg Boss".

"In 'Bigg Boss', we were in a house where there are cameras 24X7. . . you cannot hide feelings and emotions all the time.

So if there was anything between us, it would have come through once or twice. But there was and there is nothing between Shweta and me, " said Manoj, who has featured in Bhojpuri films like "Sasura Bada Paise Wala" and "Daroga Babu I Love You".

Shweta, who became a household name after the success of "Kasautii Zindagii Kay" on the small-screen, is separated from Raja Chaudhary, and lives with her daughter Palak. When she came to know about the concern of Manoj's wife, she decided to clear matters after "Bigg Boss 4".

But Manoj says it is no longer required. "I told Shweta that I have been trying to convince my wife and I can handle this alone. I was never good friends with Shweta, I just shared a cordial relation with her.

We became friends in 'Bigg Boss' and I did not like the fact that she went against me towards the end of my stay. I don't think I can connect with her anymore, " the 45-year-old said.

"My issue is that when Shweta and Samir (Soni) came to know that Ashmit (Patel) was bitching about me, why didn't they tell me? As friends they should have been honest. I was extremely frustrated when I left the 'Bigg Boss 4' house because I felt cheated, not because I was evicted, " he said.

Though Manoj feels "relaxed" after being out of the show, he says it is hard to digest the fact that Ashmit received more votes from the public to stay on the show.

"I am amazed that Ashmit got more votes than me! I cannot believe it still! But I guess the fake Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik story is being liked by everyone and I am sure it is the channel's decision to keep them in, " he said.

Deepika & Sonam Thrown Out It's Ranbir's Revenge

Ranbir`s Revenge: Deepika and Sonam thrown outShahid replaced by Atif Aslam, Deepika and Sonam out (after Koffee With Karan?), but Katrina stays (Kyunki Papa approves?). After the changing equations with his co-stars are making our heads spin

It's final. Ranbir Kapoor's world tour in July 2011 would have him sharing the stage with Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu and Malaika Arora-Khan. A fifth girl is yet to be finalised. But it won't be Deepika Padukone or Sonam Kapoor.

Says Rishi Kapoor, the 70 per cent producer of Ranbir's first world tour and the lad's dad, "Unfortunately Shahid Kapoor can't accompany us. We've got Atif Aslam instead. He's a huge draw among Asians abroad. The show will be youth-oriented."

More changes

The combinations and permutations for Ranbir's world tour have gone through more changes. While Shahid Kapoor has been replaced by Pakistani pop singer Atif Aslam, Deepika Padukone is no more a part of Ranbir's world tour because Katrina Kaif was not comfortable with the idea of being in Deepika's company for nearly a month at a stretch.

Impossible

The ever-forthright Rishi admits it was impossible to have both Dippy and Kat on board. "Deepika wanted to come along. We didn't want any stress behind the stage.

See, as it is, Ranbir has never been on stage. We want it to go smoothly, no backstage jhik-jhik, please!" Sonam has backed out too. Adds Chintu, "She begged off saying she didn't have a song repertoire to stand on stage with Katrina and Priyanka."

New experience

Giving details of the world concert Ranbir's dad says, "We start off in the UK, US and Canada. Then after six months we'll go for another lap of the tour. I've done these world tours over and over again. But for Ranbir, the world tour would be a new experience.

Not even once, has he danced on stage even at award functions. This was planned so that he could be seen for the first time on stage during the world tour. The complaint of Indians abroad is that as much as they love Shah Rukh and Salman they've been seen performing on television extensively.

If you're seen performing on 300 channels 365 days a year why would Indians in the US want to pay $200 to see you on stage? That's where we hope to score with Ranbir's concert. By God's grace, he does have a bank of songs to perform to. We'll be all over the US, UK and Canada over the five weekends in July."

Munni and Sheila unite

Apparently, 'Sheila' Katrina and 'Munni' Malaika would actually perform a fusion of their mega-hits Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui. Rishi Kapoor too would be sharing the stage with his son.

Rishi ain't telling. "You'll just have to wait and watch. The Morani Brothers are in the UK and US to finalise everything. Hopefully, we'll be doing Ranbir's first world concert without any hitch."

Sallu Ko Chhod Ke Sonakshi Sinha Jaye Kahan?

Sonakshi Sinha: Sallu Ko Chhod Ke Jaaon Kahan? While Karan Johar is keen to cast Sonakshi Sinha in his next film where SRK plays an eligible professor, he wonders whether she is ready to do a film outside Salman's creative ring

After a blockbuster with Salman Khan, and two more projects on the anvil with him, Sonakshi Sinha has got Shah Rukh Khan interested.

Apparently, Karan Johar is keen on signing her for his next venture where SRK plays a young, eligible professor. Sonakshi might play the campus hottie, a la Rani Mukherjee in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The question that some in the industry, especially SRK's camp, are asking is whether Sinha is open to offers outside Salman Khan's creative radius?

Says a source, "So far, she has signed three films, two of them (Kick and Dabangg 2) are with Salman. The third project, Joker, is also affiliated to him because the director, Shirish Kunder, is close to Salman, and is in fact also directing Kick.

While Karan and Shah Rukh are keen on signing Sonakshi, they are wondering if the Salman-Farah group is supervising Sonakshi's career. "

Sinha laughs off the suggestion, though. "Aisa kuch nahin hai. Salman has been very supportive and helpful. Neither he nor Farah or anyone else is advising me on my career. I've the best advice at home.

And If I've not signed films with actors my age, it's because they've been busy with other projects. Besides, Salman and Akshay Kumar are superstars. Their age is of no consequence to me or the audience. "

Joker is going to be shot in 3D, and shooting starts in January.
